4. Data Storage and Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. Your information is stored securely using encryption both in transit and at rest. We use Supabase for database management and authentication, which provides enterprise-grade security. OAuth tokens for connected services (Gmail, etc.) are encrypted using AES-256 encryption before storage. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Audit Logging and Transparency

We maintain audit logs of all sensitive data access for accountability. These logs include:

• When your OAuth tokens are accessed (for connecting to Gmail, etc.)
• When emails are fetched on your behalf
• When WhatsApp messages are sent by your AI agents
• When your agent memory is read or updated

You can view your audit log in your account settings to see exactly when and how your data was accessed. Audit logs are retained for 90 days and then automatically deleted.

6. Connected Services and Third-Party Data

SimGent connects to third-party services (Gmail, WhatsApp, etc.) on your behalf. We only access data from these services as necessary to provide our automation features and only with your explicit permission. We do not sell or share your data from connected services with third parties for their marketing purposes.

7. AI and Machine Learning

Our AI assistants process your data to provide personalized automation. We use OpenAI and other AI services to power our intelligent features. Your conversations and data may be processed by these services in accordance with their privacy policies. We do not use your personal data to train public AI models.

8. Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to:

• Access, update, or delete your personal information
• Disconnect any linked services at any time
• Export your data in a portable format
• Opt-out of non-essential communications
• Request deletion of your account and associated data

9. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 90 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory purposes.

SimGent is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected information from a child, we will take steps to delete such information promptly.
